The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CGL 2018 notification on the official website of SSC. SSC Exam application form process has been started from 16th May 2018. Last date of application submission is 16th June 2018. Candidates are advised to submit their applications before the last date. Exam will be held in the month of August for Tier-1. SSC CGL Syllabus and Exam Pattern
The SSC CGL Examination will be conducted in Four Tiers as mentioned below:
Tier-1 — Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier-2 — Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier-3 — Descriptive Paper( Paper Pen Mode)
Tier-4— Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/Document Verification
Tier 1 and Tier 2 exam will be based on computer based mode and Tier 3 exam will be based on Paper pen mode exam. Tier 4 is Computer Proficiency Test/Skill Test/Document Verification.
TIER – I Exam Pattern
CGL Tier 1 exam is a preliminary exam and those who submitted their application form successfully for SSC CGL 2018 are eligible for preliminary exam or Tier 1. The scheme of Tier 1 exam is followed:
- It will be conduct through online mode means computer based mode.
- of Total question will be 100.
- There will be four sections in paper each section has 25 no. of questions.
- Time duration is 60 minutes.
- Each question will be 2 marks.
- There will be Negative marking of 25% or 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
